What You’ll Come Away With:

Attending counseling can feel vulnerable, and I’m committed to facilitating a safe and trustworthy space. I bring a mix of evidence-based professional practice and a willingness to work with a client in a prayer ministry capacity if desired. I’ve been working with clients through the 12-step recovery process. My heart is to tailor our work to fit your specific needs and goals, so that you can get the breakthrough you desire.

Biography:

I became a Christian at 15, the first in our family. I had a poor sense of self-worth and looked for affirmation in relationships- usually the wrong ones! I’ve found the Lord to be so close, my ever-present help. No matter what I have passed through (especially in the past few years as a single mom of four), God has been there as my provider, counselor, and best friend. He’s taken me on a journey of becoming free, and I feel called to lead others into the freedom, hope, and joy that is available in Him.

I qualified as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the U.K., and I completed a Diploma in Therapeutic Counseling while working at a U.K.-based counseling practice. I completed a Christian Counseling certificate (YWAM) and worked with Teen Challenge U.K., a recovery program working with people overcoming addiction. I relocated to Redding in 2015 to attend BSSM and completed all 3 years. Since finishing ministry school, I’m working towards becoming a Certified Addiction Counselor while working at the Transformation Center. I’m currently studying a Masters in Counseling and Psychotherapy Practice so that I can transfer my licensure to the United States.

My strongest spiritual gift is prophetic ministry. I’m passionate about freedom and have relentlessly pursued this in my own life overcoming low self esteem, fear and unlocking joy! I feel called to empower clients to identify and overcome areas of life where they have felt stuck, specifically in the area of addiction and developing a healthy sense of self-worth.

I’m a volunteer with Founded, a ministry that builds relationships with people living on the streets and helps facilitate pathways into recovery. I’m also a proud mom to four awesome teens!
