What You’ll Come Away With:

I believe that financial skills are not enough to truly master money. Instead, people must work from their inner place of beliefs and remove the destructive mindsets that are keeping themselves and their finances in bondage.  I think this inside-out approach is what makes Financial Sozo a simple yet effective method for 1) resolving destructive financial cycles/generational patterns and 2) increasing capacity to grow and carry wealth.

I now see remarkable breakthrough and success among the people I serve as a result of understanding and applying two maxims:

  1. Skills will always bow to beliefs

  2. The solution for every financial problem is the spirit of adoption

By working with me, you’ll gain confidence, clarity, and purpose with your money. You’ll learn how to live in contentment no matter your financial situation while embracing the “life abundant” that God has for you in the area of finances.

Biography:

As a child, I thought I enjoyed a loving and stable family. But as my self-awareness grew, I was shocked to realize I was being abused by certain people close to me. I wrestled strong emotions poorly and chose alcohol, depression and rebellion to cope. Spiraling poor choices culminated with a series of serious events involving cars and guns. I was 16.

The following year I wandered under a fog of depression until I dedicated my life to Christ. However, my unhealed wounds still festered as I mistook career and church for meaning while running hard and strong to please God. This mindset eventually collapsed, leaving me at a crisis of purpose that only God the Father can fill. Father God met me in his quiet way, corrected and forgave my errors, and spoke a word that healed my soul at the very core of identity. My world was never the same.

Realizing how this revelation restored my inner man and gave me authentic victory, I applied these ideas to my field of accountancy; I developed Financial Sozos at the same time that my wife, Dawna De Silva, was developing the Sozo ministry as a whole. From 1995 to 2017, I ran an exclusive service company specializing in nonprofit accounting and ministerial income tax preparation. Simultaneously, I led a growing team as the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) and a member of the senior leadership team at Bethel Church in Redding, California.

I now work full time through my nonprofit organization to bring financial healing to individuals, families, and business founders. My focus is on breaking financial cycles (trauma and disease) and increasing financial capacity. My mission is to restore financial health to the Body of Christ for the release of supernatural provision of the Kingdom economy.

When not at work, I love spending time with my family. My wife and I live in Redding, CA and have two grown sons and three grandkids.
