What You’ll Come Away With:

Sessions with me are so gentle and peaceful that you’ll be surprised at the breakthrough you receive. You’ll feel heard, realize you’re not alone, and experience a sense of safety and compassion with me as you allow God to reveal what’s been holding you back. Nothing you say can shock me.

My hope is to bring you to a place where you can let go of the things that have wounded you, find God’s love permeating every cell of your body, and embrace Him fully in your life so that you can live in freedom, joy, and peace.

Biography:

I first attended the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in 2010 after being told that the first year of school was about experiencing the Father’s love and knowing your identity in Christ. This seemed perfect for me as I had just gone through a divorce after being married for 25 years, and I was trying to figure out who I was as a single person.

After I was divorced, I had trouble connecting to all the emotions I felt. I’d grown up in a home where emotions weren’t allowed to be expressed, and I could only be out with the family if I was good or pretended I was happy (even if I wasn’t). As emotions came up during the divorce, I realized that I had no muscle or experience at processing anger, sadness, loss, betrayal, and hurt. A friend suggested that I paint out the emotions I was feeling on a blank canvas, and this soon became a safe place for me to express my emotions without fear that they might overtake me. During my 1st year of BSSM I found Sozo, and everything clicked for me. For many years I’d gone through counseling and tried to find inner healing the best I could. Through Sozo, God revealed the core wounds and lies I was believing, and as He dealt with those, He healed a sense of shame I’d carried since childhood. I began to live in freedom, joy, breakthrough, and peace.

I dreamed of combining these healing modalities of painting emotions and using Sozo tools so that others could experience this healing as well. I began doing Sozos at the Transformation Center during my second year at BSSM and then interned for Dawna De Silva (Sozo Founder) during my third year, after which I was given the opportunity to start Art Sozo. We now have leaders trained all around the world to bring God’s healing in this way to others! I’ve written two books about Art Sozo - Art Sozo: Painting With God and Art Sozo: Connecting to the Heart of God Through Art.

I’m now happily married to the most wonderful, steadfast, honoring man, and between us we have 6 children and 8 grandchildren. I’m known as Gigi to my grandkids, and I love being with them and having silly fun as well as profound moments of speaking truth into their lives. I also love swimming (my granddaughter is convinced I’m a mermaid), being outdoors in God’s creation, and being in real, deep relationships with friends. I love traveling and have been to 40 nations. Last but not least, I’m nicknamed, “The Queen of Fun”, by my family and friends.
