What You’ll Come Away With:

Clients often tell me that they leave sessions feeling lighter and with a sense of relief. You can have this experience too! I’ll help you gain confidence that God is approachable and that you truly can hear His voice. This fresh confidence will empower you to receive God’s love, healing, and freedom in a new way.

Biography:

As a believer, I attended small churches for most of my life until my husband and I moved to Texas in 2016. I’ve served in my churches wherever there was a need - the nursery, Sunday school, intercessory prayer team, Sozo ministry, jail ministry, office managing, etc. For almost 7 years, I pastored a small church in Round Mountain, Nevada where I was also a substitute teacher. While living in Round Mountain, I connected with Bethel’s Sozo ministry and began to pursue even more of my own healing.

In my household while growing up, my parents were strict and I was expected to show respect, not question their authority, and do exactly what they asked me to do. For example, when my parents asked for a glass of water, I was told to bring it, wait for them to finish with my hands folded, and then return the glass to its proper place. I found myself not understanding many times why I was being punished. If I was smart, surely I should have "known better."

As a result of this and similar experiences, I viewed myself as dumb, and God as a stern, very serious, unapproachable, distant being. I would work for love (instead of from a place of love), and I expected everyone else to do the same. It was scary to approach God for fear of being reprimanded or punished by Him. Through my journey of healing, I’ve instead experienced Him as a kind, gentle, merciful father, full of love towards me. It is my heart that Father God draw the wounded and broken into places of healing and restoration, receiving freedom to be who they truly are!

Outside of work, one of my hobbies is crocheting. Each of my family members has an afghan I’ve crocheted with them and their personality in mind. My high school sweetheart and I have celebrated nearly 50 years of marriage.  We have two grown children and six grandchildren.
