What Do You See?

Astronomers estimate there are about 100 billion galaxies, each containing an average of 100 billion stars. Our Earth is in one galaxy. - https://science.nasa.gov

Our God is the maker of the heavens and the earth.  He is Lord over the seen and the unseen.  He lives outside of time and is not ruled by limitations.

Consider these scriptures:

Psalm 113:4

The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens! Who is like the Lord our God, who is seated on high, who looks far down on the heavens and the earth?

Ephesians 1:17-19

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might

Deuteronomy 10:17

For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who is not partial and takes no bribe.

How do you see Him?

How we perceive God greatly affects the way we receive from Him.

Have you made God small in your own eyes?  Have you made yourself small in your own eyes?
The Israelites definitely did.

After God Almighty delivered the Israelites from the hand of Pharaoh in Exodus 32, we see them try to condense God down into something that they could understand.  Aaron fashioned a golden calf from the rings the people were wearing, which symbolized their covenant with God. It appears as if the Israelites were discarding their covenant with God.

While in Egypt, an orphan mindset developed within the Israelites because of their years of slavery causing them to make poor choices when they got to their promised land. God delivered the Israelites and saved them from a life of bondage but they chose to view their deliverance through the lens of their past in slavery, adopting the practices of their former masters. Exodus 32:8 says “They have turned aside quickly out of the way that I commanded them. They have made for themselves a golden calf and have worshiped it and sacrificed to it and said, ‘These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt!”. The Israelites reduced God Almighty down to the size of a dead statue and worshiped their own man-made efforts of self-righteousness for their deliverance.

We see that this chapter of Exodus concludes with Moses going to God on behalf of the Israelites to make an atonement for their sin. This was a type and shadow of the Lord’s plan of redemption for us. There is good news! Jesus, God Himself, was the atonement for your sin. Jesus IS enough. The veil has been torn and you have full access to God Almighty.

We have all made sacrifices to idols trying to achieve something but, God is calling us back to His heart. One drop of the blood of Jesus would have been enough, but He spilled it all. Jesus keeps no record of wrongs and washes us clean. The blood of Jesus is not passive. It is jealous for you and is the answer.

Is an orphan mindset keeping you bound? You can break free!

Jesus sacrificed Himself so that you could be saved, healed, and delivered. Don’t delay your breakthrough any longer!

God is after your heart!
